A Quickie Supernatural Update...#5
Big thunder and lightning storm tonight so I couldn't be on my computer very much. But I did manage three more episodes: Hell House, Something Wicked and Provenance. I also watched the Special Features on the last disc. I have only three more episodes to watch so my next update will be the final one for season one.
HELL HOUSE - Some great humor in this episode. I loved the two zany ghostbusters. It has occurred to me that none of the guest stars have become famous, at least not so far. Julie Benz is the only guest I've recognized and she was already well-known.
SOMETHING WICKED - I love the way Sam and Dean roll their eyes at each other. And it was so funny when the child, Michael, at the motel looked at them, rolled his eyes, and said, "Two queens" when checking them in. LOL Nice double entendre. There were so many touching Sam and Dean scenes mixed in with the scary stuff in this episode.
PROVENANCE - This was an interesting episode. The picture of the family gave me the creeps and the little girl was super scary. Nice job with the kiss at the end, Jared. *woot!*
SPECIAL FEATURES - I watched the Special Features tonight and was glad I did because it provided a lot of information about the series. The blooper reel was hilarious and "A Day in the Life of Jared and Jensen" was pretty funny, too. Jared sure can pack away the candy. Loved Eric Kripke's explanation about how he created the series and the changes that were made to his original plan. Thankfully! Without the changes, we wouldn't have BOTH Jared and Jensen.
