What to Do when It's Below Zero

Jan 05, 2014 18:10

My cats have the right idea. Just curl up together and take a nap.

Compton, Sam and Dancer were sound asleep when I walked into the den, but when I turned on the camera, they looked up. Compton, especially, on the left looked very suspicious.

I waited a while then tried again. This time Spunky (black & white) had joined the group, but Compton was prepared for a fast exit. Eric, who is solid black and gorgeous and is missing from the pics, is a loner and rarely sleeps with the others.

I wish I could figure out a way to photograph the cats without alarming them, but they really don't like the camera, especially if I use the flash.

A little bit of everything is forecast for tomorrow: Snow, sleet, freezing rain and, of course, more bitter cold temperatures.
