Woke up at 7 again today in an effort to beat the Saturday morning buzz @ the gym. Rather than endure an intense work for the third day in a row I decided to only do 40 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes stairs and two arm exercises. I was trying to plan ahead for tomorrow morning when I am sure I will want to get some kind of physical activity in. I wiped myself out for three days due to last Sunday's crazy two hour cardio workout (felt great at the time but total lack of good/enough food left me depleted through Tuesday). Came home and made an awesome smoothie with my new blender:
1/2 a banana, handful of frozen strawberries/blackberries, squirt of local raw honey (I'm giving this a try in an effort to fight seasonal allergies), two scoops rice protein powder, a scoop of superfood powder, a 1000mg vitamin c packet, splash of mega green juice, a sprinkle of ground flaxseed and a dash of cinnamon to top it off. It was the shittt. So ready to get back to my daily smoothie routine. So quick and easy and packed with nutrients.
Going to attempt a 6-miler Monday morning. Curious as to how I should gauge my workout tomorrow. I have such a hard time resting!
