Nintendo and Super Glue

Mar 14, 2006 00:10

Finger memory.
I recently downloaded a Nintendo emulator for my computer and have been re-playing all of my favorite old video games. It amazes and frightens me how much random information I absorbed from video games into my tender young mind. I still remember exact flight patterns to avoid missiles from enemy fighter planes, how to avoid every obstacle in order to complete my weekly paper delivery, every time to duck and punch in order to knock out my enemies and win the heavyweight championships. All of this is buried somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind. It really makes me wonder what else is lurking back there...

And super glue is amazing. I never cease to be amazed with the many uses of super glue. It has saved so many things that I momentarily considered beyond repair.

Fucking amazing! You can download complete albums of really good music for $1-2. I highly suggest checking it out. There has been a sudden influx of really good new music into my life. Really good music always makes my life seem somehow epic. Even if I am just sitting at home playing video games.
