Long time...
Well, needless to say, it has been quite a while, but things have been so good, yet soo busy. I'm on Fall Break right now which has been such a good, needed break from school and life. I got home Friday to find out that my mom's uncle had died and so she decided to go to the funeral in Minnesota. She left this morning, so we spent most of the day together yesterday catching up and shopping. The rents hadn't really gotten me anything for my birthday, so of course she felt so bad about it that she felt the need to buy me so many things. We went out to dinner last night to celebrate and then came home. I spent so much time yesterday putting a bunch of home videos and dance videos on a DVD so that I can have some at school. So now I have a DVD of Laura...through the years! If you're lucky you might get to see it ;)
Dad and I played disc golf today and just got done watching a movie. He's letting me take his mandolin back to school with me which is oh so freaking exciting! I can't wait to learn how to play better. Now i just have to find some people to play with so that I can actually get better.
Well I'm tired since I brought mom to the airport at 5 this morning..so I think it's due time for sleep. I'll try to write more, although I don't really believe that anyone reads this anymore!
