2nd week
Good Lord this quarter's off to a crazy start. I just started rehearsing for the show that I'm in. It's called "Mukashi Mukashi" which means "once upon a time" in Japanese and it goes up at the Geffen playhouse in a month. The tickets are printed. And we rehearse every night from 7-11 except Sundays; Sat. from 1-5. YIKES. But I wasn't called to rehearsal tonight. Thank the Looooooord. I need a break.
I have class every day till 6, although I start at noon 3 days a week. I'm taking 18 units and my max is 19, although I might be able to fit in possibly 2 or even 6 more units for the show I'm doing. My knee's been bugging me. Stupid ligament; I think it's from climbing Mission Peak...
Acappella is also nuts. 1st week we had 3 days of auditions and only took 1 girl. But she was worth it. Now we're practicing full speed ahead for Spring Sing and we're supposed to flier at least 2 hours a week. Definitley didn't this week. Oops. We went to S.B. last weekend for retreat and stayed at the most beautiful house EVER. We sang on the streets for money for an hour and a half and got 50 bucks! Good times. We're going to UCSD on Saturday to sing at their acappella festival. Should be interesting.
Overall, I like my classes much more this quarter, there's just a lot of crap going on. I can't wait till 8th week when we start touring for the show and I have to do crew for the spring musical every day from 6-11. Greeeeeeeat.
I need to catch up on a ton of reading. And go put my laundry in the dryer. But I did clean up my 5 ft. area of the room so I feel a little better.
P.S. Good Lord, Fremont drama. I hadn't read lj in awhile. I miss you kids! I don't think I'll be coming home at all this quarter :( We'll see though. And Meesh, I'm looking into when I can come see your show. I'm hoping I'll find a good day but I can't guarantee anything. Peace out yooooooooooos...
