That is utterly hilarious about your cat! My merri was 22 lbs at her heaviest and we put her in kitty fat camp. She wasn't happy about it either, but she never learned to open the refrigerator. Amazing!

My grandmother says Baby thinks he's a person, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that he's managed to learn how to open the refrigerator! How did kitty fat camp work out for Merri?

Sorry it took so long to reply. She lost a couple of pounds, but to be honest, I gave up a while back when she started to go downhill. I figured if it was the last year of her life, she might as well have whatever she liked.

mmmm.. rum balls sound great!

YAY!!!! writing!

HAHAHA! Baby is pissed! You could try one of those automatic feeders to spout out food a couple times a day, so that is a measured quantity, by breaking up his alloted calories, by 3 or more meals (just like us humans are supposed to do) you may be able to make him happier. But hey, at least, having to keep a chair or baby lock on the fridge, is better than him showing he's pissed in other ways!

Yeah, I've been wanting to write for so long, but I never have time anymore. I'd planned to participate in NaNoWriMo this year, but I gave up on it Day 1. There was no point. So I was super happy yesterday!

Baby's supposed to get 3/4 cup of food a day, so I try to break it up into three or four small servings a day. Our big problem with Baby's diet is Bubbles. She can't eat Baby's food, so she has her own. The two of them like to "trade lunches". When we aren't looking, the two of them switch bowls. I guess Bubbles is trying to watch her figure!
