Good luck!

And I think it depends on how you use it and the context. I mean, "Lesbos" by itself is just the island. But by Roman times, it implied sexual deviance (but not just modern lesbianism) and calling a person a Lesbian (from Lesbos) was not necessarily the nicest thing to say to a person.

Um, in short, what's the context?

Oh, I was just making a pun. I'm glad you took it seriously, though, because your comment taught me something new!

I was hoping you would respond. Thanks!

LOL!!! Oops.

Somebody used "Sapphic" in a way that made me squirm yesterday, plus the Sappho paper, so I'm just hyper-Classicist right now when it comes to Sappho stuff. haha.

I can't blame you! By the way, in what way did that person use the word "Sapphic"? It sounds like a female version of the word "phallic". XD

Ooh, good luck! :D

Is it bad that it amuses me so much that the college is Marlboro and the only thing I can think of is the Marlboro cigarette man?

Nope! I came early to a seminar in religion, philosophy and literature that I was attending, and the professor was smoking Marlboros. Ah, I got a kick out of it!

My very good friend is in his final semester at Marlboro. He enjoyed it quite a bit. I liked visiting; it's a pretty interesting place.
