it has been a WHILE..
ok. wow. so the past few days i haven't gotten much sleep for some reason.. and i felt like crap 'cuz i was letting stuff get to me that really shouldn't.. and then came graduation day.
that morning i woke up at 7 and didn't end up getting there till 8 on the dot. yeah, i left my house at 7:50 and sped like a demon all the way to school. so we got down and for some reason my stomach was hurting like no tomorrow, but i made it through without a scratch. 10:00 rolled around, faster than expected, and we did the whole procession thing. umm.. the ceremony was straight, the speeches were great, and i was nervous as hell walking up the stair thing to greet dr. prince. i told mrs. scarafia and she was like "well, when you walk across that stage and down the other side, you'll be an adult".. it was simple, something so cliche and widely known, but it was comforting to hear it. anyway, after i walked off that stage, i was nothing but smiles.. i probably looked idiotic. whatever. oh yeah.. i didn't cry. haha. umm.. so after, we all went downstairs to greet our families, and it was like a freakin' circus down there.. there was no way i would find my parents in that zoo, so i just headed out and away from everyone as much as i could.. ended up outside in the grass, hugging and shaking people's hands. i actually strutted over to justin linn and shook his hand like the good man i am. melissa did not see me. pretty soon, the asian crew made its way to where i was.. jon, mike, mike, phil. their families all took pics of us and stuff.. then me and borger left to meet up with my parents at red lobster. on the way to the car, we passed by melissa's family, and she saw me and i gave her a little wave and a smile.. and then i saw her sister and she screamed my name and gave me a big ass hug. we talked for 2 minutes then i left with borger. he dropped me off at red lobster 'cuz he had to be somewhere. my parents decided against red lobster because we would have been there for a while waiting for tables. so instead we went to the chinese buffet and it was good.
after all that mess, we went home and i changed and got ready to go out. my mom dropped me off at school, for my car was still in the parking lot. so we went our separate ways and i went to my work to get water for the beach. i saw rebecca and she gave me a huge hug.. congratulating me on graduating.. we talked and i felt naked in my wife-beater.
so i left for the beach and there were a bunch of people there.. monica, faiz, chris, spencer, collin, darren, BIRTHDAY GIRL SARAH, danielle, chu, rachel, alicia, and jessica. i spotted monica and faiz first, away from the rest who were playing football *slash* skimboarding. so i decided to sit my ass down with them and talked and joked and stuff.. pretty soon the others came over and i got hugs and congratulations. all that good stuff. soon everyone wanted to go to danielle's so we could swim in the pool. we headed over and stayed for maybe half an hour before we had no choice but to leave.. her mom was being cool. so we had to leave danielle :( and we planned our next move. first we went to sarah's house 'cuz we were allowed but then i fucked it up when i tailgated chris in front of her house, laying on the horn, pissing her dad off.. sorry sarah :(. so after that we went to JJ muggs, with spencer continually throwing shit at my car (which was really starting to get old). jj muggs fell apart and chris decided that we would go to his grandma's clubhouse. we met up at FAU's parking lot first so i could follow, and spencer decided to be smart and throw something at my face. i didn't stand for that and i got out of the car and asked him if he wanted to fight. he calmed down.
so we got to the clubhouse and it was awesome. we finally got to celebrate sarah's b-day and swim and eat and talk, like planned. the kids went in the pool while me, faiz, sarah, monica, and chu stayed in the enclosed porch thing and talked. soon everyone had to be home, so i took jen and monica with me and i dropped them off at monica's. me and monica had never really talked before but yesterday we talked a lot.. and i think she's really cool. definitely someone i wouldn't mind hanging out with at all.
after dropping them off, there was a lag in time between that and the party i was to be at. i was supposed to go to pam's party at 5, but i called birdman and he told me that mostly her family was left, with justin and melissa there. that alone gave me the hint to avoid it. so instead, i went to gary's and hung out on the porch swing with gary, tami, jaci, birdman, and dedrick. it was cool, we talked and laughed. they went to see The Longest Yard and i left for danny's.
so i got to danny's house and went in.. and i saw ADULTS. i was like.. whaaaaa????? yeah, but they were definitely cool with the drinking and i was like WHAAAAAA???? lol. danny offered me a shot within the first two minutes and i decided to get it started. then i went outside and that's where i spent the rest of the night. in the porch. listening to music. i was familiar with some of the people there, like danny, lucio, john, and soheil. the others i either met that night or had seen of before at other parties. pretty soon shennon, trey, and shen's cousin from south carolina showed up. by that time i was extremely social. so here's what happened.. shen's cousin got one of those flavored shots from the cooler that look like they're in a test tube and she shook the water off on me. we shook hands, introduced ourselves, and talked the rest of the night. no more details.. all i'm gonna say is we were with each other the entire night.. i think she's awesome and i think she thought the same of me as well. with some little interruptions, of course.. danny dancing in my face like a drunk bitch and john trying to get me to do the spongebob voice, and trey and i engaging in pissing contests.. of which i won all 4 times. yeah, but amy's awesome as hell and i think we may be hanging out again tomorrow night. anyway, after her, shen, and trey left, i sat around and watched and danced to the music. danny was turning gay on me so i decided to walk around with this guy eric.. he's pretty cool. then some kid was freaking out.. he goes to our school and i think he was wasted as hell, but he was crying on the slides for some reason. being the decent guy i am, i comforted him. and the rest of the night i don't remember.
today i woke up and i had the worst hangover imaginable. i had to go out to lunch with friends of the family and go to work as well. it was hell.. but rebecca was at work, so that made it a little better.. when i walked in through the door she immediately saw me, hugged me, and screamed out (with customers a few feet away) "you look high".. that took me by surprise.. and i informed her of my little hangover. blah blah blah, work sucks.. and now i'm home. i won't go to sleep as late as last night, that's for sure. some chick (really pretty and sounded like she had a BIT of an accent.. not too much to turn me off) came in to CVS looking for a chaser (for hangovers) and i laughed and told her that i needed it as well.
down the home stretch, guys.. my days in palm beach gardens are numbered.
