March 2, 2008 - Random Babbling
Friday night I turned in early. If you know me fairly well then you know 11 PM is EARLY for me. I woke up sometime between 3:30 and 4 AM. Strange nightmare about someone trying to break into the Explorer via the tailgate while we were in it. Couldn't go right back to sleep after that.
I had some early morning girl talk with ehzoterik and rachaelwynter; much fun ladies! I finally crawled back into bed about 9:30, maybe ten. I swear I must be coming down with something because I woke about 2 PM and was napping again after Tom got home from work around 6. Slept nearly the entire day away. That's just not me.
I have some things on my mind, when don't I? Some household things, some hobby things, and so on. It's either feast or famine, brain in overload or brain in stall mode. This is just one of those run off that the mouth times ... or is that run off at the fingers?
So, Himself got in from work some time between 9:30 and 10 Saturday night. I apologized for the lack of supper because I felt like I'd been run through a rock crusher or something. He's like ... no problem, you feel up for a ride to Killeen? Call me surprised. I was unable to get the Sims 2 expansion I wanted at the local Wal-mart the other night, so he suggested the bigger one. Off we went. Got his food for work and some things for the youngin to eat for lunch for work. Got the last copy of Sims 2: Free Time they had in stock. YES!! We also had dinner at El Chico's. We got the Mixed Grill Fajita plate and shared. We never seem to have room for dessert there.
Speaking of the previously noted Sims 2 EP, I tend to get lost in that game for long hours at a time. This is just a heads up to people that might be wondering at some point, "Did she fall off the earth?"
I'll save the RP babbling for that filter. It's both squeeeeeeeee and rant, a rather nice mix for a change.
On the household agenda:
Sunday the gamers will be out back, so I will be either indulging in my new Sims EP or cleaning house. Maybe both.
General clean up is in order around here (when isn't it?). Monday seems to be good for garage cleaning, so it might be a good time to move the pile o' stuff away from the wall, sweep, sort contents and move things back. I keep holding off on the craft cabinets for a reason. There's more craft stuff in the house to be stored in there! ::flail:: I want to sort it properly!! I have a dresser behind my workstation that's filled with soap making and other supplies. That needs to go out there. Makes no sense to half ass the job.
As for crafts projects, I still have those photo albums in progress. The blue one is almost done. I have no idea why I'm dragging my feet here. I have a bazillion possibilities to work on in those piles of craft items, I need to have a notebook handy to record them while cleaning out.
