And Which End *Is* Up, Anyway?
And here I am trying to figure out which end is up. I have to get over to Wal-mart for a few things including a 1 1/2 inch drill bit. Need to pick up a bag of river rock so I can clean up the base around the Summer Snow rosebush this week. Was tempted by a 2 for 5 special on baby roses, but I can just hear the complaining over it.
So, I need to pick up the house, get on over there, and get it over with. Need to pick ingredients for dinner and try that truffle recipe.

Shopping done, meatloaf cooked.
And later on.... we had the meatloaf, made with onion and green peppers, and mashed potatoes. It was a new recipe, well, to me, anyway. Turned out pretty good, but Tom is right needs chili sauce instead of the ketchup.
Got the drill bit. Ended up getting a set because the 1 1/2 inch didn't come individually. So, when the other half sees it, he says a 1 inch would have worked. But let's be honest... we ALL know that he would have gone off over it if I brought one home because it wasn't what he asked for.
Didn't have cat litter on my list, but need to get it. I think I freaked out a chick that was digging in the 2 for 11 DVD bin when I just plucked out a title I wanted and she was hunting through them like a starving tiger. I did get the river rock and Thursday will be gardening day. Going to be a long project. Also need to get the small boards put under the new building and get crap cleaned out.
Kevin and Tom were talking about drilling a hole in the floor out there to put the extension cords through. Good idea in theory... but... if they don't seal around it, it's like inviting trouble. Bees and other small critters could get into the building that way.
I have the stitching on close to 1/2 of my latest needlework project done. The project is in two parts on I just now realized that quite a few people on my friends list could make use of this neat gadget and its buddy.
