The Day After Thanksgiving... and Stuff.
So, on Black Friday, the moniker for the day after Thanksgiving due to heavy traffic, etc. of shoppers, I picked up the house, dropped off DVDs at Hollywood Video, picked up dinner at Subway for my other half and took it to him, and went shopping at the PX.
It was about 4:30 PM when I finally got out the door, so much for my plans to hit that early bird sale. I went to sleep around 1:30/2 am and woke around 9. Kevin said he didn't want to go, so I didn't either. I forgot about the $3 bath towels and 3.44 DVDs, rolled over and snoozed.
Ended up leaving Kevin's dinner in his car because he got caught up in a meeting. Hit the PX, got Tom a nice sweater and three flannel shirts for his trip north. Got dog and cat food as well as some Red Bull, wasn't passing up 4 packs for 5.99.
Got Liz her traditional Christmas Winnie-the-Pooh gifts. Picked up a set of Craftsman wrenches for Chris. That box is packed and will be on its way when I head off to take Tom to the airport on Monday.
Every year, Liz gets something Winnie-the Pooh, Jess gets a key chain, and Tom gets something for The Crow. And I just realized that I forgot to pack her shotglass.. bah
