Another day in my loony bin.
So, I'm still somewhat clogged. What else is new?
Rachaelwynter pointed out an exhibit at the Franklin Institute. This lead me to find this http://sln.fi.edu/tut/index.html and this http://www.kingtut.org/ 4 stops in the US. LA, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago and, Philly. I know some of my LJ friends are into things Egyptian. According to the exhibit info, it's fifty treasures from the tomb and the CT scans of the mummy will be on display.
If I do get to go, I need to get those opera glasses things for Kevin. He informs me NOW that he didn't like some of the exhibits in the Tower of London due to sight problems. "Couldn't see." Uh.... NOW YOU TELL ME??? What... Twenty years after??? Oh, boy. That was a "GAH, MEN!!" moment.
So, on today's agenda is:
- Attempt to get hold of Liz, yet, again. I hope she didn't lose her phone again. If no contact by phone and no mail from her, I need to write her and tell her to call home collect if need be. Her car money is almost 2 weeks over due, the bank has sent the nastygram already.
- Clean the fridge.
- Possibly shave the dog. Winter fur is trying to come in and he's gnawing again. Not to mention the hair all over the house.
- Put away laundry.
- General clean up.
- Go out to pay two bills.
- Drop off dry cleaning.
That about covers it. The mail comes by three, so I'll stay around here until four so that I avoid the school bus traffic.
That's about it for now, tonight is a good TV night, so I probably won't be online until late if I log in.
