The hurrier I go, the behinder I get. (A collection of miscellany)

That's how it feel, anyway.

I noticed a trend in me not posting normal entries on Saturday. I get out of the house on Saturdays and Sundays. Since Kevin has weekends off at present this is a good thing; it means there is more to life than sitting at my desk trying to write and stay cooped up.

I won't be driving for quite a while, but it's not so bad. My ankle has hurt like a screaming bansidhe for the last few days. I was told on Friday to go ahead and start putting weight on the ankle. So... I learned that I can get around the house with my boot thing on and the occasional holding on. I also learned that I can use said boot and my walking stick to get about outside the house. I had to hang on to my husband for some parts and we took the walker along, "just in case," but I avoided using it. Both days when I got home, I know I overdid it, but it felt so good to get out without being confined in my mini-cage that I didn't notice it hurt until I stopped moving.

I'm trying to convince my left foot to get off the fragging floor and move when I'm not wearing the boot. It's not cooperating. Maybe by Christmas.

I'm looking forward to this weekend as the new Sims is supposed to be in stores on Friday!!
I'm clearing up my hard drive to make room. The Body Shop Tool is just too cool. If the preview version is this good, I can't wait to see the full creation tool in the game!! I think it's cool how Body Shop not only shows age progression, but regression. Meaning, that you could view the Sim figure in the toddler, child, teen, adult, and elder stages. I managed to get one to sort of look like Rhi, one of my RP characters, but she shouldn't look tanned. I had found a picture in a doll magazine that looked like her as a child. Of course, I was playing her as a kid then, so it worked. I got the toddler to look as close to the picture as possible, then grew her up.

I've been trying to clear out my AOL PFC. That is the source of all the little whatnots and funnies that I've been posting.

I've been going back through old entries and doing memory tags. I started doing that today. I got a whole month done.

I need to get the kitchen, etc., done tonight. That work begins at 7:00PM. If son dishes shit at me, he'll be cleaning when dad gets home and not too pleased to learn that he's only holding up having an company this weekend as his room and bathroom need to be squared away before that happens. I'm taking the bitch route and not saying zip until the kitchen is done.
