Michelle's Birthday
Last Friday we attended Michelle's (cyberspikes) "Red" Birthday party. Andy (birdienumnum) took a couple of pictures which I love! Thanks to Emma (psilobabe) for the loan of the hat ;) First hat I've ever found that suits me... I hope! What do you think, does it suit me? Be honest, please!
In other much less happy news, I went to see my Gran again today. She isn't doing as well. She has lost loads of weight, she now weighs 8 stone. Bearing in mind since my Gran went through the menopause she has always been about a size 18-20 minimum, she really has gone downhill fast. My mum thinks that she has stopped fighting, which although we can all understand, my mum is obviously upset as I think she expected Gran to be more of a strong fighter for the family. Still, she seemed fairly upbeat when I was over there, despite being very frail.
