(no subject)
living in texas city again and being at my grandmas house everyday reminds me of why I moved to Houston -.-
See grandma and I get along just fine when I'm not here all the time. As soon as i'm here its like her brain switches to retard mode.
-me in the kitchen making a sandwich when grandma comes in-
Grandma: "You're still fat from being pregnant you need to go on a diet."
Me: "You're joking right?"
Grandma: "No really, you lost some weight but you're still shaped big."
Me: "I just had a BABY.... Besides the doctors at the hospital specifically said I can't diet for 6 weeks. You were there when she said it so you know better than that."
Grandma: "Yeah but your not in pain so you can start early."
Me: "I'm not in pain because i'm taking 800 milogram advil every 4 hours."
Grandma: "Well then don't diet but eat good."
Me: "I've had tuna and crackers today.... how much healthier do you expect me to eat?"
Grandma: "You ate cupcakes."
Me: "No grandpa ate cupcakes, you ate cupcakes, tootsie ate cupcakes. I didnt eat cupcakes because you said I would look like a cow for years if I did."
Grandma: "I did not"
Me: "Yeah you did."
Grandma: "Well suit yourself but you're the one eating junk food and you're the one whos gonna have to work like hell to get it off so you arn't fat for the rest of your life."
Me: "Thanks grandma..."
-throws sandwich away-
So why not just not go to grandmas?
because then this happens (this was yesterday at 8am)
-phone rings-
Me: Hello?
Grandma: It's 8 o clock
Me: ok...
Grandma: Why arnt you over here?
Me: Because its 8 o clock and alan doesnt go to work until 3 so I didnt wake up when mom left at 7 to go over there.
Grandma: why not?
Me: because if I dont have to wake up that early im not going to since autumn keeps me awake all night.
Grandma: Well... come over. I'm sending grandpa to come get you if you arnt here before he gets home from the store.
-grandma hangs up-
@_@ i love her. i do. but she drives me insane. I can't wait for pooka to be home so that I'm not home with autumn by myself so that she wont bug me quite as much. -.-
