Violent death stalked the darkness. Every hunter worth his rock salt knew that. This knowledge, ingrained since earliest childhood, gave Dean an appreciation for night’s gentler moments.
Now, as Castiel lay naked beneath him, eyes dark with desire, his touch was as gentle as moonlight. Dean’s hands skimmed lightly over his body, committing it to memory.
In unspoken invitation, Castiel entwined their fingers, drew him down into a searing kiss. Dean gratefully accepted all that was offered and together they preformed a dance of give and take, passion and pleasure.
Tonight the night was gentle, tomorrow remained to be seen.
