Rejected As Expected
The only surprise was one refreshing good review. The other was overly negative, probably a competitor. They said "The authors try to emphasize too much on the importance of a distributed database like PIER". Most likely the reviewer is working on a different type of system and feels threatened by a database system.
Conference rate was 1 in 6 papers, which means it was very selective. Okay, yeah I grasping for straws.
