I'm a lean, mean, dancing machine!
This weekend I'll be performing in the 54th annual Israeli Folk Dance Festival in New York City. We're performing to "Inyan Shel Zman" and "Ma Od Nevakesh." Rehearsals for these dances have been going on for a couple of months. We're pretty good actually, but not nearly as good as the other groups.
As for last night....
Last night was Merichelle's "Ballroom dancing extravanganza!" I learned so much: Cha-cha, salsa, merengue, waltz, a little hip-hop, and some other stuff. Most important of all, I learned that if you don't know what to do, you simply "move your feet and shake your ass." It was so much fun. For some reason, a lot of the other guys were being lame and wouldn't dance, so an amazing thing happened; I had women fighting over me. :-)
Tonight, I plan to use what I have learned and party it up at Abyss. I'll let you know how that goes. Leave comments with your predictions!!
