Olympics Fever 5
With swimming over, I turned my attention to Gymnastics (Artistic).
Finals of the following 3 events tonight
1) Men's vault
This might as well be called the European championships as all 8 finalists came from Europe.
It was won by some Polish guy but this guy caught my attention.
Coming from Russia but not quite as stunning as sexi Alexi Nemov, Anton Golostukov won a bronze medal adding to his earlier bronze in the Floor excercise.
2) Womens uneven bars
A delight to watch, the top 2 scorers had the same score. I don't know much about the gymnastics scoring system but somehow it was sorted out who was first and second without going thru a tie-breaker.
3) Men's Rings (show of great strength but not so interesting to watch)
China went 1-2 with gold to Chen Yibing (whom i think looks the best in the Chinese gymnast team) and silver to Yang Wei, who was the gold-medallist for the individual all-round).
