i give thanks for my friends
whose warmth, humor, and insight
so often let me feel replenished, seen, understood
connected, supported
and also challenged to think, feel, and grow in new ways.

because i have a daily reprieve from the crazy
because i don't get to know all the answers
because i am one among many
because i'm so blessed and have so much
because it could always be different
