Saint Patrick's Day
I'm not big on celebrating holidays other than 'christmas' (which i've started to just celebrate the fact that it's the winter solstice) and my birthday (and other people's birthdays). Those two always a huge deal at my house. My mom is christmas obsessed and we've always made a big deal out of birthdays.
If my friends decide to get together for a relaxing evening, i'm fine with that. But i'd rather not participate in a drunk fest of idiots only drinking because it's saint patricks day, and non of them are remotely irish or know why it's celebrated. I don't drink, so the entire event is rather reduntant for me.
Mina has decided to have a bonfire at her house tonight. I dont know if it's for st-pattys day or not. But I told her i'd go if smores were involved. Hopefully it's just our close circle of friends and not some of the idiots she works with.
