Shameless Griping
I got called in to host tonight. My only full day off this week. That I picked up a Friday night shift to have off. So now I'm up to 9 shifts this week (ugh).
It was dead until 7:30, when a party of 70 people arrived without a reservation. The rest was a blur, but I'm glad I was there because we needed a Host, Busser, Food Runner and Extra server and I managed to do a little of each.
In doing so I think I burned off the last of my recent bad reputation with the management. After tonight they MUST think of me as the reliable, multi-skilled employee that I am.
Now I must rest before the quadruple shift.
