(no subject)
I guess some sort of official hand-waving thing is in order since while some of you know me dreadfully, embarrassingly well, others are probably more like 'beat-whatsit?' and 'does he have two turntables and/or a microphone and how does this changeover effect me?'.
The short answer? Hardly at all! I'm not a super-old school fan, but I've been around this and in general, fandom for a while so I'm pretty laid back. So much so, that if there is something afoot, I'd really appreciate a heads up. I'm pretty easy going up until I'm not, but that's really not likely to come up. The hiatus-of-sorts is over, much with the awesome! I doubt we'll have time for the non-posting, grumpiness of our long, desolate fan-winter. It's time to break out the sunscreen for MCR fandom basking and to everyone, get in the pool! No hanging out on the edge, dipping in your toes and still wearing a t-shirt. Bare all, we are skeevy and we'll like it, I promise.
And in regard to that, there's going to be some mindless nattering about plot ideas, aus, photos, etc. coming up. I'd really like to see participation, a community is about that sort of thing, otherwise it's just voyeurism and while I like it in my fic, not so much here.
If anyone has any complaints, suggestions, fic about Branden playing Ruby Soho and Frank making cow-eyes over it until Bob smacks him in the head with a sweaty towel, offers, etc, this would be the place to do it. I'm also going to be clearing out the pending membership queue, so if you happen to be interested in joining, re-read the user info and go for it again. I'll also take email at: beatpropx@yahoo.com.
