That picture always has been and always will be in the bathroom. It's the number one rule at the lake.

OKAY SO:

This may not be interesting to anyone else, but we used to take the Mohawk Trail through Mass to go to Lake George when we were little. Now, it's kind of creepy and run-down, but it's still full of fond memories and awesomeness.

This is how our trip started, Jill is really excited. And she has a cowboy hat!

The Sweetheart! Oh, memories.

Shelburn Falls!

Thems is part of the falls.

Glacial potholes!

Robbie and I at the falls. But he said I didn't look sad enough, so...

Now we're sad.

Scenic view. You used to be able to walk down that gate into the potholes, but some douchebags like hurt themselves and sued? Whatever.

Glass blowers!

Bridge of Flowers!

Aw, aren't they cute?

Awww, aren't WE cute?

Visitor's center where some crazy old lady gave us the whole history of the world/town.

Aw man, Charlemont Inn! The floors were crooked and we'd go swimming illegally in the secret river across the street.

HOLY SHIT. So Heath Center. It's this place where you go down a ridiculously long and desolate and windy road, and there's a tiny town at the end. And by tiny, I mean like 3 farmhouses, a library, and a post office.

That's their church.

That's their town hall.

And this little gem is their park.

No, I'm not kidding.

The Oxbow is this tiny motel we'd always stop and stay the night.

And that is its resort.

LARGE INDIAN! Sweet. There's a gift shop next to this. There's also a big teepee, and you used to be able to feed goats and llamas there.

And there's Jill at the bottom!

And there's Jill and the pony. Isn't she cute?

Now, right now I'm gonna show a bunch of pictures of awesome scenery that probably will bore you. But fuck you, because they are so retardedly awesome.

Those are all from one of the trading posts where it's all lonely and scary but severely beautiful.

Tourist shotttt.

Requisite kissy face.

Here is what's left of the huge watchtower. It used to be about two or three more stories high, and you used to be able to climb it. And there used to be a shop at the bottom. That place was so awesome. You could see for like ever. But now it's all run down.

View from the Hairpin Turn.

Robbie and Jill at the top of the last sight-seeing placey dealie.

Gorgeous.

And here we are at the camp!

Map and picture wall.

Dude, so do I.

The classic outside porch shot. Le sigh.

And the living room and kitchen. Talk about kitschy. ♥ ♥ ♥ Man is it awesome.

The rug and shag carpeting!

Dude that hat has been hanging in that room for almost ever.

And that is my hot cousin wearing it.

Those are my cousins Jen and Brad collapsed sleeping after the tubing experience.

Aw, and it was the anniversary of the first time Jill got drunk. We're such bad influences.

Look at her looking cool.

Aw, JenJen.

The classic big family picture. Only there are so many people who aren't there. :( Sad face.

And that, my friends, is my absolute favorite place of all time.
