i meant to write about this acouple of weeks ago, but..i'm lazy. i tried my hand at stained glass, and came out pretty pleased with myself. in four hours i learned how to (and did) create something. I started with only the knowledge that i wasn't going to try for something three-dimensional and ended with this:
i am so proud of myself. i'm going back again next week; have no idea what i'll make but whatever.
more currently, today has been a pretty domestic day. sewed an underdress, made cherry cobbler, even wore a skirt. all kind of to prove that no i don't always stay in my room and to avoid writing what i have a feeling is going to be a pretty terrible story for that MS fanfic exchange.
also today our house continued its trend of leaking out of every orifice. seriously, i think it's secretly made out of snow or something. goood thing we live in a temperate climate. if it lasts long enough to refreeze in the winter it should be okay.
