First of all: Don't hurt me.
Second: I agree that he should have been more autistic (i.e. avoid eyes, etc.), but he did portray it very well, and in all honesty, better than I think I could have done. As for emotional ambiguity...well, if he'd done the other character's emotions from the autism perspective, it would have been difficult for people who hadn't read the book to understand.

It's not pointless, at least it's not intended to be. Yes, artistic licence. He changed some stuff to make it better for a Prose. That's all I was saying.
