I....don't know

I have another job, I guess? I'm sort of afraid of it. Because well I'm bad at picking up quickly on things.

The story is that Salter twittered about being employed to a pretentious half-restaurant. Out of curiosity, I asked which one, but then immediately I realized that it had to be La Mia Cuicina (or whatever), the fancy italianish place that just opened in Harris. I had...forgotten they might need employees. So then I was like shit well I have an hour and a half why not go see.

Turns out LMC has the longest, slowest lines known to man. By the time I had asserted I could just basically sign up for shifts "after my meal" I only had time to order a small bowl of soup. The signing up process took forever because there just were a lot more shifts, and someone was dropping their sunday one, and then it turned out I needed to take it to be eligible for bonus, and I'm generally sort of flaky when I'm nervous about wanting to get more work but not wanting to forever doom myself by taking too much and oh no oh no etc. The rule sheet seems a lot more strict than the CSC, because well the CSC is itself, very small and personal, and Harris and all its cohorts really aren't.

So my added work schedule after too much deliberation is:
Mon night 9:30-11:30 - dishes
Fri Evening 5-8 - dishes
Sunday afternoon 2-4:30 cashier/beverages

I have to get certified through some computer programs before I can start, need to find good black pants, and of course my first shift for the sake of the girl dropping it is on Sunday, the shift I am most afraid of due to Customer Interaction and Cash Register. But...uh...overall not hte most intrusive schedule? I made myself not take a 2-4:15 friday on top of the other.

I think Salter works Friday night taking out trash and stuff. If so, cool, we can jam together and then head out for Risus. At least I guessed right at all? It would have been really freaky if my guessing had led me to a job that entirely wasn't what he was talking about, because as he doesn't follow me on twitter he never responded to anything I said about it.

Overall, a nerve-wracking night. Also I'm going to need real dinner sometime.
