When I went to see Ronan Keating at the beginning of March, he said that Boyzone would definitely tour again. EXCITEMENT. Got an email the other day for presale tickets for said tour, which is happening Feb/March next year. I duly got two tickets for Cardiff the day after my birthday; Block 5 row E which is high up and miles away:
WHY do ticket companies believe that it's okay for presale tickets to be so rubbish?! It's just not fair! You think you'll be getting a chance before everyone else, and therefore better seats, but NO. So, today I thought I'd have another look on See tickets [who I still don't quite trust] but WOOP for I now have one ticket for the same date for BLOCK 1 ROW FUCKING C.

Also, I finally had an email back from Fluoride, the band I did that demo for!

Anyway, still keen (which is why I am working like mad for a bit), have 2 contracts coming up that will mean I can bankroll the band more easily.

I have attached an MP3 for you. Have a play with some vocals if you want. The band (and that song) have a theme so lyrics are lightly planned. The last line of the chorus must read "it just falls on deaf ears". Motivation? The song is about knowing something that people should know but cant comprehend when you explain. Like a nightmare where you need to scream but cant speak, no sound comes out. Its about conspiracy of silence, politically biased press, lies, a police/judge/solicitors/mp's paedo ring (hollie greig scandal), orwellian totalitarian surveilance state,social control.
I have listened to your voice and it has a lot of character. You sounded slightly nervous :) but is cool, I appreciate you got it over quickly to me and didnt get much time to relax into recording. I would actually really like to hear you sing 'Zombie' by the Cranberries, your voice breaks in that irish way ;)
I have some ideas for the bits in Deaf Ears I think should be belted out but hey, am keen to let you do your thing and really hear you. I have been blown away and seriously encouraged by the amount of people who have come forward saying they like the track and want to do the vocals, and have only asked 2 people (you included) to have a play with the track.

Yesterday I went to Brumland to visit Nooface, and to treat her to Alice In Wonderland and a cookie :] Alice is rather fantabulous. I have to shame myself by admitting I haven't read the book, but I still enjoyed it. Especially the 3D thing. I've not seen anything in 3D before, so it was fun! I can see it wouldn't work for everything, but it will be great for lots of things. They played the tv trailer for Doctor Who in 3D and EEEEEEEEEEEEE! Wish it really was going to be in 3D.... kjsdhfkjhflkajsdf.
Am very annoyed at prospect of train strike. If it happens, it starts the same day as I am supposed to be going to London to see AFI :/ FAILFAILFAIL.
I want to live in Forks. It struck me the other day that it never quite seems beautiful enough here. Maybe I'm being unreasonable. Herefordshire is quite pretty.. but meh. Maybe I should move to Stratford on Avon. Now Warwickshire. There's a beautiful county.
