Life's been treating me fairly well lately. I finally got my Uni results, which means my days can consist of more than waiting for the mail to get here and then randomly harassing the mailman because i realise that there's nothing left in the box for me. I actually came out with very respectable results. I recieved a Credit for Photography, Distinctions for Drawing and my Theory course, and a High Distinction for Jewellery!

Recently i've just been working on trying to finish my various projects. I've been continuing to work on my standard, realising that it would come out much nicer if i payed more attention to the back aswell as the front. I have also been working on a rather large embroidery project, but i will keep that one a secret until i have photo's of the finished product, then i'll post them. I also have a half painted tournament shield for David and a new half made pair of chassers for me that i keep thinking of getting to, but then quickly get distracted by the new gown that in 2 gussets ans 4 hooks and eyes away from finishing, but with all this thinking of attempting, i never get around to them. If that makes any scence. :S I actually opened a fortune cookie the other day that had a very witty moral on not doing too many things at once because you'll never get anything done. I wish i could recall the exact saying, but it was quite shocking, buit not entirely true. Today i finished an artwork design for a tournament shield for my knight. I'd been promising to do this for some time, but kept doing other things, and so i can atleast say that i have Prooven a cookie wrong and accomplished the first step twards more stuff to do. :)

I cant say that life has been particularly boring either. As we already know i'm working on random stuff fairly constantly. Christmas is coming up in 2 weeks, and David and I are taking a trip to Canberra on Boxing Day, and we'll be there until the 5th, 2days before my birthday. So I have all of my shopping to do before Christmas, but once that's done i can relax and enjoy the festivities on 2 fronts.

Actually I only have 2 things i can complain about, One of which is i've developed a phantom cold. Yesterday i just woke up with a sore throat, and today it's worse, but with alot of dry coughing mixed in. I cant recall anyone in the house being sick so im not sure where its come from. Also i've finished reading World War Z, which was a brilliant read, but for some reason when i get into trends of thinking about zombies often, like reading zombie fiction and watching a few Zombie films, for some reason i tend to start thinking that the idea of a zombie apocalypse is plausible. And so my brain starts working in a constant state of readiness. This is why sometimes i will take Zombie breaks, to remind my brain that its not going to happen. I had a couple of nightmares recently that were both zombie related, but it's not the dream that gets to me, it's the feeling when i wake up, being sure that it's happened. But luckily i've finished the book, so i can now have a recess from zombie lore.
