The Ellys are tonight. I guess that's cool.

My walls are different colours and it's offsetting.

I was offered a ticket to see the wondrous event, then the ticket was taken back. That's a family thing, though...couldn't be helped. I don't know if I was really looking forward to being around people tonight anyway...I might have if I actually went out. But it's safer just to stay in tonight...

The Ellys are perplexing to me. A bunch of people get really really dressed up to go to a dinky awards show and it's pretty much all because this town is so desperate to feel big and heavyweight that they do things like this to show how much they can puff out their chest.

Sacramento is the tiny brother always buzzing around the older brother and his friends, asking annoying questions and imitating them, until the older brother finally has the smack the little brother out of view.

If San Francisco is Paris, Sacramento is Nicky.

I've always wanted to be in a photo where the caption reads "So and so laughs at a joke with whats his face, while Edward Nelson looks on." I want to be the one just kind of there, in the foreground, so people wonder "what was he looking at? obviously what so and so said was funny, look, there's ludafisk coming out of what's his face's nose! why isn't edward laughing? what caught his attention?"

At least that's what I do. I see a picture and I've always looked around the background first - the people that "look on" are much more interesting to me for some reason.

The same reason I liked "The Company" with Neve Campbell - I almost thought that there was a story happening and there was a plot and everything - and the camera kind of drifted off to the side and started to catch everything going on in the background. The lookers-on.

Yea, I've decided - these walls are upsetting.

I have a re-occuring dream where everything is twinkling...like...everything is starry. People have jewels all over their skin and they walk around thinking of higher things than the planet or war or religion or anything. It's interesting to see what colours everyone is...I'm always blue.

It's beginning to get vaguely dull here. That's fine. I can deal. Whatever.

I think I need to go to the bathroom but that would be too human of me. *retch*
