ok, so i've gone through almost all the cards in section 2 of the theory chapter, and written up sort of summaries of what should go in that chapter by topic area, and started organizing that. more organization still must happen, but it seems like a good start. i'm going to bed. i'll continue this in the morning.
what i need to do next:
-go through 'protect and prepare - call for research' and figure out what's important to say and where it should fall
-go through 'protect and prepare - empirical' and summarize
-go through 'directions that research should go that support my work' and figure out where that stuff ought to fit (maybe not even in this section?)
then go through the typed up file and reorganize a bit. then write it up! that part should be fast.
