How glad I am to finally have internet in the evening! For the past couple of days it's been so frustrating to see my modem just restart itself and then begin flashing all of its lights. Had the tech guy from our company over yesterday in the afternoon while I was out watching Leap Year with some friends (which was cute, but cliche like all movies, but still cute; I &hearts Amy Adams) and apparently he replaced some stuff but not our modem. :/ I was hoping then that when I got home and got on to post at my boards over at FF that my internet would be working perfectly or damn near close to it, but alas no such thing happened. I was almost expecting for my modem to restart and go nutter all by itself again, so I wasn't as disappointed as I'd been the other previous times, but it still sucked serious arse. Tonight it seems to be working fine, though, and I hope it stays that way cuz I really need to get some posting done. *sigh*
As for other things in my life, everything just seems very blah. I am not looking forward to going back to school in about a week and beginning what is sure to be a very, very stressful semester. I mean, I'm taking three serious math classes -- Statistics, Matrices, Vectors and Linear Programming, and Calculus III -- so I'm kinda freaking out. I only hope that I somehow regain my brain in a week, as well a regular sleeping pattern.
That's about it on my front. I don't usually say anything about myself O_o but whatevs, I felt like it I guess.
Oh and HOW FREAKING AWESOME WAS DOLLHOUSE FRIDAY NIGHT?!?!? I can't believe this amazing show is getting cancelled because stupid Fox doesn't know what good TV is anymore (which incidentally doesn't include their choice to air House and Lie to Me, hehe, among other things). But seriously, how could they not properly advertise this great show by Joss Whedon no less. They just gave it a really bad time slot. Whatever though cuz Friday's ep was freaking amazing! I did not expect that twist at all and OMG the way that Bennett was killed!!!! O______O! WOW! I was seriously not expecting that at all! I mean, when we first saw Amy back (Claire/Whiskey) I had a flailing moment cuz from the beginning you knew her character was one of the more intriguing on there and then BAM! she's kissing Boyd!!!! Yeah, I can't even think about it in a way that's comprehensible because the twists that we got in that ep blow my mind! I mean Boyd turning out to be the evil guy, the head guy of Rossum is insane! Now I don't know if any of his moments with any of the characters are at all honest or anything like that! His relationship with Echo was one of my favorites on the show and to see that that was all false is just crazy! But Adelle is such a BAMF and I feel so bad for Topher and OMG Mellie is back NOT November.........I can't wait til next Friday to see the next ep!!!!!
I must say that I have been working on some icons, of all kinds to be honest. I've made some Lie to Me, Dollhouse, stock, Gillian Anderson, Kelli Williams, stuff but I'm not ready to post much of anything, hehe.
