WHAT?!!!! CASTLE, WHAT????
So I couldn't sleep and logically the next thing to do was to drown myself in Castle, like I've been doing for the past couple of days. I downloaded some eps and have been watching and tonight I watched the last couple of eps of the first season. I just finished the finale for the first season 1x10 A Death in the Family and OMG!!!! :O WHAT?!?!? Let me go back.
The ep is pretty good you know. I noticed that it didn't really start the way the other ones are want to start so automatically things were gonna be different. Plus, it's a season finale, or so I think, so it has to have some sort of cliffhanger thing! From the title now I can deduce what that twist was but what happened I was not expecting and I need to know more!!!!
The scene with Castle and Beckett in the hospital, before the serious one at the end, OMG!!! I love them so freaking much right now! They're too cute and I just freaking love what Castle said to her!
Castle: "Most people come up against a wall, they give up. Not you. You don't let go. You don't back down. That's what makes you extraordinary."
WOW!!!! I couldn't believe that he was saying that to her so of course I had to rewind and watch the scene like 5 more times! That was so sweet of him and you get more insight into why he chose her, other than the fact that he totally wants her, hehe. But man, this scene, these words, totally brought me back to The X-Files. It so sounded like something either Mulder or Scully would say to each other. Like one of their little, secret declarations of love, admiration, care, affection, and comfort! It was just so perfect and really beautiful writing there. Totally love them!
Now onto what has me going "WHAT??!?!" WHAT DID CASTLE FIND? WHAT DID THE DOCTOR -- who btw is totally the hologram doctor from Voyager :D oh yeah, i'm a Trekkie -- SAY TO CASTLE ABOUT BECKETT'S MOM??? I GET THE FACT THAT HER MURDER WASN'T RANDOM, BUT WHAT IS IT??? I DON'T KNOW. CASTLE JUST SEEMED SOOOO SERIOUS AT THE END WHEN HE WAS TELLING HER WHICH MAKES ME THINK THAT 1. HE'S AFRAID SHE WON'T TALK TO HIM ANYMORE, 2. HE'S AFRAID OF WHAT IT'LL DO TO HER, AND 3. IT'S GOTTA BE SOMETHING HELLA SERIOUS. I'M THINKING HER MOM WAS A VICTIM OF A SERIAL KILLER OR SOMETHING! Ugh! WOW! I HATE THAT IT JUST ENDED LIKE THAT AND WE DIDN'T GET TO LEARN!!! AND OF COURSE IT'S SO LATE NOW THAT I REALLY NEED TO GO TO BED AND SO I'LL BE STARTING THE SECOND SEASON TOMORROW BUT WOWOWOOWOW!!!!!!!
Now that I'm done with that! Didn't the end also imply that Beckett was gonna tell her captain dude that she wants to reopen her mom's case? I got that feeling but right now I don't remember. I found it kind of odd given how much we've been shown about her being one of those cops that when she reaches brick walls doesn't give up, so to hear her say that she'd given up on her mom's case was a little shocking to me and also how she didn't want Castle investigating it. But then when she told him I kind of understood and I figure if I was in the same situation that maybe I would be the same way. I mean you have to consider what she said, her first 3 years on the force she investigated her mom's case and then after that it took her a year of therapy to put it behind her! That's almost 5 years of her life, so I can understand her wanting to put that behind her and move on, but still. It's her mom! I don't know, but I'm so sticking with this show! AND I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IT IS THAT THE DOCTOR FOUND AND THAT CASTLE WAS TELLING HER AT THE END IN THE HOSPITAL!!!!!!!
