Another Revoooo

It's Seetar Tandoori, in ktown. Davey took me :). It's where I was gonna go for my birthday when IE said they couldn't take that many people, but in the end only sophie and sav turn up, so we went round to IE instead (it's literally across the road). Rolf Harris once ate at ST, which I consider on a par with the cast of Eastenders having eaten at Bar Carlos*.

Anyway. Poppadoms good, sauces good except the yoghurt style offering which after you had noticed was basically coriander toothpaste was literally nothing but coriander toothpaste. In an excellent feature, the waiter asked me how hot I would like my pathia, which came exactly as ordered, although the texture was slightly too chickpea-y. The staff were actually amazingly attentive and remembered which of us had ordered what. The naan was well sized and above average in taste. The rice was one of those where you have to order a rice each if you require filling from it, but luckily we'd had a naan each so were fine. I thought the curry portion size was just right.

We also enjoyed the bonus after eight.

I think while I prefer the pathia at IE [and ofc IH, to which this comment basically extends] the atmosphere at ST is much nicer, it's not the IE [/IH] style we're a happy smily curryhouse, go have a pint of cobra and live in your fictitious curry enjoying bubble; its come in, we'll put effort into personally making you an enjoyable meal. I dunno. ST may be toothpaste, but it's never going to be accused of being fake toothpaste.

*oh how I miss torrevieja :(

crg endorses ih, curry
