In Which I Revoo Music
Its Thousand Days, by Thousand Days. This is completely a music revoo in response to many_from_one's blatant copying.
So, Days Go By. I quite like it. Spoilers. Only a small part of me, like 10%, is scared of it.
Oh, I've had half a pint so apparently I'm very likely to type something that almost slightly doesnt make sense. I was glad when the song was over, because it and msn was just a little bit too much for me to cope with.
Headlight Waves. Stupid title. I just very a little bit have the sense I want the song to be over. It kind of grows on you as it goes on. But I don't understand it. The long "shiiiiiiine"s sound wrong. And the ending is rubbish.
Absense. This is calmer and prettier. I'm nodding along. If I was at a desk, I'd be tapping along.
Brake. They obviously like cars. I don't.
Coming Up. I like this song. I dunno what it is but its sort of got this relaxed feel which is just like "yeah, if I tried harder about 12 more people would like this song, but I don't really care about those people. Go forth and live your lives, kids. I'm just a singer youve seen in a bar you dont know in a town you're never going to come to again." I appreciate this sentiment.
The Weight tries to be artifically and unexpectedly heavy and sounds completely out of place. And then after all that its sooooo slow. Skip.
Zia. Having an intro a bit pretentious, but then, see also Embrace - Intro. On the third hand, this intro is rubbish and in no way sounds like the song. But on the actual Zia front, I include this song in playlists to look cool and offbeat. [See also Heath Street]. I know all the words and I like the song. Listen to this song, its good. I even claim to understand it! This is quite rare.
Throughout the whole album, I've been thinking SHE REMINDS ME A BIT OF ZOEY DE WHATSERNAME [theres a crap album if I've heard one]. But this album isnt so crap.
I don't have time to develop an unintelligible star rating system [I so evil when YOU STEAL MY IDEA] so I'm gonna go with "better with Kismet", tell you you may as well just listen to Zia and maybe also Coming Up and call the whole thing off.
