Getting rid of stuff
Ah. I have dad's car for a day (mom&dad went to Helsinki to see a play in Suomenlinna summer theatre - pity about the weather today) and I decided I'd finally do something useful with it.
So I packed the two old, ugly and broken computer screens + a fully working but old printer (which were cluttering up my study) + an ancient VCR (from under the livingroom table, heh) into the car and drove to a recycling center.
The kind guy took the pieces of more or less crap and lo, I have less stuff. Yay.
Or should I say fewer broken electronic devices, since there's a tie waiting for me at rowanna73's, and that's clearly stuff, right? Hmm. Oh well, the best way to put it would probably be that I have more floorspace now in my study. :)
And the car. It's as worderful as ever to drive. Small joys of life. (I want a car!)
