Update
Well, it's another week. And nothing new on the job front. I did have a tiny bit of excitement last week when the HR person from the Weather Channel actually called me back. Some of you may not know, but I had been calling HR departments from all the places I had applied to--and were leaving messages on their machines and no one was calling me back, so the fact that someone called me back was pretty nice. Anywho, I was looking on the positions again today on the WX Channel site and the job I applied for isn't there anymore, so I guess they hired someone. That sucks.
My dad is telling me that I shouldn't worry--it's still early to tell. He's thinking that if I don't hear from anyone between 6-12 months, than I should worry. Well, what am I supposed to do till something happens?? Guess, I'll be working some retail for awhile...something I don't want to do, but I have no choice. A.) I'm BORED and B.) I need money!
Other than my boring life trying to find a job, there's really nothing else going on. I've been eating way too much (partly because I'm bored) and I've been watching a lot of online shows. I've picked up crocheting, but there's only so much you can do with that.
Hopefully, next time I update, I'll have some more exciting news.
