Oscars from a long time ago...
To watch or not to watch the Oscars, that seems to be the question of the night for me. I want to watch them but than again I don't. I guess all I really want to see is what everyone is wearing and who actually wins the award! But I do not want to watch the hoopla surrounding the Oscars. No pre-red carpet crap, no acceptance speeches. I know this isn't a life or death decision here, but for some reason I'm having trouble deciding on what to do.

anyway here is the list of (i'm hoping) winners of the night!
Cate for best actress. I thought Juno was excellent and Ellen Page was good, but I didn't think she was THAT great. I honestly thought Amy Adams should have been nominated for her role in Enchanted. I'm not quite sure why she wasn't. I love her and I think that she's going to be the next big thing! Back to Ellen, her performance was good, but it wasn't as good as some of the other contenders. I'm pulling for Cate in this one. And I think that Ellen still needs some more roles to establish herself as a true actriz.
Since I never saw the other movies for the other nominations, I'm not going to write about them. I heard that Javier Bardem and George Clooney were excellent in their roles.
