THAT. FLOOD o.o
ok, this is the FIRST time and hoping it's also the LAST time this will happen!!
we just started living at this house this march and we know it's rainy season and all... and there were talks that this was gets flooded, but we dont have a choice cause we cant find any other one...
and yesterday, the day that I finally felt how it is to get flooded inside the house! Outside it was a knee deep but inside, since our house is a bit elevated, the water was up to an ankle deep. it was rather low than outside but still! the water! that dirty water and all... ewwww!! but! beggars yes that's us can't be choosy! haha~!
it was a good thing classes was suspended~ i didn't get to cross that river-road that shouldn't exist!
another good thing , we decided to put our things up when we saw the water rising up. All of us were girls and we carried that huge sofa bed together with the other two ones. the television... the fridge... shoe racks and some other things that I cursed because I was like, why do we have so many things?!
and then this was this morning, when finally! the sun showed itself. this aint our house and i dont even know who those people are , but this is what it looked like outside. we cleaned up that morning. for like three hours. cleaned, mopped, deodorize... everything. then put the stuff down and had lunch afterwards.
i hope this wont happen again. then at noon, we decided to leave the house to go to the mall/supermarket cause the water had subsided and to stock up some foods and other necessities, just in case, but after awhile, the harsh rain came back. and someone told us that the outside is flooded again, luckily the inside isn't. so with that, we also bought some rain boots~ mine's the blue/purple one~! :D
they did come in handy btw, but just a couple of hours ago, we decided to put the sofa bed and stuff up again. another, just in case, stuff. aaaahh~ this is a tiring day.
