Too many times have I seen friends suffer from long distance relationships, lately more specifically ones involving one of the partners being off in the service ( ... )

That's even more reason for him to have NOT done it. Resolve cracks in time...I know this all too well through experience.

At the moment, I'm going nowhere either. But that's only half of the required items on my agenda - I can't be seeing anyone, either.

And I'm not...I'm quite alone, infact. But even then I hesitate. If I were with someone, I don't care how slow my life was moving - I'd find another way that would make sure I'm still with that someone.

I'm only sorry he doesn't think the same way, as egotistical as that sounds.
