Homophobia exists because of fanfiction!

See, I'm telling my mother about Kay's troll-stalker from the other day, and he walks in and says, after listening to half a sentence, "I think there wouldn't be so much homophobia if homosexuals would stop trying to force gay pairings on anime characters."

....ookay. Bonehead Assumption #1: the pairing in question was gay. I have NO IDEA why he assumed that, since I didn't even name the pairing. It's not a fandom I even know! He claimed it was because 90% of my RPs are gay. (Untrue. ALL of my RPs contain a mix of pairings.)
Bonehead Assumption #2: the troll was expressing homophobia. I never said anything to that effect. Actually, I was talking about how asinine it is for someone to seek out another's more or less private journal to pull that crap. I said nothing at all about the troll's arguments.
Bonehead Assumption #3: that only homosexuals like gay couples. God forbid straight people not have issues with homosexuality! No way most of the fanfiction community could be normal girls, right? No way homosexuals could like straight couples, either.
I don't know why I'm surprised. This is the same jackass that said sexism can't happen if he doesn't see it personally.
Can I just...drown him in a welll or something?
