I have finally read all of the Odyssey! It's only taken six years. For some reason, we only had to read like half of it in high school. After Classics lecture today, I realized why I dislike the Oresteia. Basically, because it's sexist. And not just in that institutionalized, historically accurate sort of way. Yay, I got a 95 on my Classics midterm! I was a bit concerned when my GSI sent out an email about a dip in midterm grades and an extra credit assignment to make up points.
