OH LOOK, ANOTHER DAY FULL OF FUCKERY. It has been ten. days. Motherfucker.

Anyway! Things I did today/or will shortly do that are lessening the gibbering terror and grim resignation:

• Sent an angry fax to Senator Dianne Feinstein because WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF TRUMP APPEASEMENT BULLSHIT ARE YOU PULLING, LADY. I haven't been able to get a call through to any of her offices in days, her phone lines don't accept messages, and I have a day job so I can't be constantly calling. So on Metafilter's suggestion, I faxed instead and it went through right away. 
• Submitted my initial/first application to volunteer with CAIR. I'd sent an email last week asking about volunteer opportunities for someone like me (i.e., paralegal with a full time job who's not super close to their LA office), and got an email back with a streamlined volunteer form, so I filled that out asap. Hopefully I'll hear back soon.
• Called and left a message for Rep. Karen Bass urging her to work on impeaching Trump, which was possibly not the most articulate message but whatever.
• And this is not at all politics related, but I'm planning to write at least 500 words on my WIP tonight. ETA: I did this! :D
• Also ETA: Emailed Feinstein's office with my Reasons Why I Marched, which apparently is a thing they're requesting. All states can email, not just California.

I was going to also continue this post with my thoughts on a bunch of the awards-nominated movies I've seen recently, but I probably oughta put that writing energy to use on my WIP instead. If I meet wordcount, I'll come back to word vomit about movies I guess.
