Yuletide Madness Has Abated...Slightly
Went out with Thom last night, and we did what seems to have become our tradition: went to the trashy Pizza Hut in Elsinore, then to a bad horror movie (Quarantine this time) at the cheap theater. Good times. We discussed anything and everything at the Pizza Hut, basically catching up with each other, with much hilarity, profanity, and insulting each other. So, standard operating procedure! It was quite fun.
It was nice to get out, really; I'd just realized that I hadn't left the house except to go grocery shopping for like ten days. Perhaps it's not so surprising I was getting a bit stir-crazy.
In other news, I have almost finished my first pass through Yuletide! The first pass is for reading just about everything in my favorite small fandoms. The second pass is for reading fandoms I am less familiar with, and following recs. There is...not really a third pass, unless you count those times I idly check the Yuletide archive for random fic in small fandoms.
