Back from the mountains, Emerald invites Vincent over to seal their friendship with a kiss.

A little before school karaoke. It's good for the soul.



Peat and Allison head downtown to dazzle the townies.



Peat: This isn't just any bone, it's a TREASURE BONE!! It's imbued with magic and awesomeness!!
Mattias: Really??
Peat: Really!! And I can tell it'd be just perfect for you. Awesome for awesome, yes?



Mattias: YES!!
Peat: It's a total steal, go for it!



Henye stops by and reminds me that I should play their house. I think she bought a boot.



It's a busy place this morning!!



And that's when I saw this ...



?!?!?! HENYE YOU NAUGHTY GIRL!! I mean, I know Mattias (bondchick_nett) is gorgeous, but how could you betray my Russet?!)



So we hopped over to Russet's house to grow them up. Old Peat means we need an Old Russet.



Awww.



Henye's LTW was to reach their Golden Anniversary. (And apparently despite Henye's little "indescretion" the other day, it still counted.)



Russet toasted his wife. I guess Peat decided to keep his mouth shut.





And Henye toasted Russet.



Yup. Now they're all old. And they take naps.



Back at Peat's house Enchanted is banging on the Pahu drum ... beating a good rhythm for Emerald and Sycamore to dance to. It was a good date.

That weekend Peat and Allison brought the kids to the store. Emerald decided to try to make a little extra money (blind dates cost big bucks!) by selling lemonade.

It was kind of a bust. Frog Prince was her only customer :(



Back at home Peat takes the girls down a secret hallway they'd never seen before.
Peat: It's like a museum, girls! A secret museum of how awesome our family is!



Peat: It's where the ashes of my ancestors, and yours, rest! All the treasures of our family are here, hidden away in the heart of our home.
Enchanted: But if we're so awesome, why is all this hidden away?



Enchanted: Don't you think everyone should know about this?
Peat: It's always been here, and it's always been a secret. Before your Gramma Clementine died, she gave me a key and told me that this is where she wanted her ashes placed, next to Grandpa.
Emerald: *cries*



Emerald: Papa, are all these people really our ancestors? The people Gramma told stories about?
Peat: Yep.
Emerald: ...wow!



And then she decided to gossip. About her sister. Who's standing right there.



...? lol?



Enchanted: Top notch story there, sis!



They spend a little while looking around



contemplating the strange and unique treasures of their family.



Take #1 at finding a job



no job, but she found a smooch!



Meanwhile Peat is busy creating fountains. He must be making up for all the good luck in his earlier years :(



I think she's wooed him!

Dear Diary,
I kissed another boy today!! He tells the best alien stories and has great eyes. I think he's number seven, but who's counting?!



Emerald: *GASP*



Emerald: Who IS that?? And why is she standing there like that?! It's like she's my sister or something!!
Enchanted-who-doesn't-look-like-Enchanted: WHAT is she doing sitting on the floor? Gosh, I have a weird sister!

Awww, another boy from school, is charmed by our Emerald. (Hutton, by bondchick_nett)



Emerald: Are you ready?
Sure!



Emerald and Hutton: *smooch*



Hutton: rRRWwaawrr!



Mrs. Crumplebottom did not approve.



Enchanted: Whooo!!! Kick her!! Throw a punch!! ... NOW!! whooo!! Go Emerald!!



Emerald: RAWR!!!
Mrs. Crumplebottom: *hurts*





With a victory under her belt, Emerald tries one more time (but gets nothing).



HAI Nate!



And we'll end this sporadic update Peat showing off his new muscles. Even oldies can work off the pudgy tummies!!
