They were already finished their job and now they were arranging the café back to normal as it was already time for them to close the café. All of the workers there worked together so it took short time to finish.
Changmin was packing his things when suddenly Ada popped out of nowhere beside him.
“Oppa, where’s the choker?”
Changmin instantly blushed when he heard the younger girl’s question. Ada tilted her head, confused with the boy’s reaction. Kibum who currently was changing his outfit snorted and he smirked at Changmin.
“His customer stole it from him, again”
“Oh shut up!” Changmin hissed.
“Eh? That PSP-oppa stole it? What for?”
Kibum simply shrugged although he snickered knowingly. Ada wrinkled her nose slightly before she gave up on thinking why the PSP-oppa wanted to steal the choker from her Min-oppa. Shindong ruffled her head lovingly and told her to not thinking about it too much.
“Guys, hurry up! We need to close this café” Jaejoong bellowed as he was already waiting at the outside.
Other workers were already went back home and there were left only eleven of them. Jaejoong tapped his foot impatiently while Leeteuk glanced at his wrist watch.
“Ada-chii, quick! Yao-ge will be mad if you coming home late!” Leeteuk called.
The remaining boys hurriedly went outside and Jaejoong locked the café. Ada was already walked hand-in-hand with both Ryeowook and Henry with Leeteuk and Shindong walked closely behind them. Eunhyuk and Junsu were walking together, trying to butt in Siwon and Kibum’s conversations. Jaejoong immediately caught up with Leeteuk and walked calmly beside the older boy.
Changmin just strolled slowly, having quite a distance between him and his friends. His mind was preoccupied with something else. His hand was stroking his neck, where the choker was before it was being stolen by someone who did the same to his previous choker.
He could feel his pulse beating against his fingers, and he could feel the pulse quickened when he reminisced the way the boy’s fingers lingered on his neck, before his neck felt exposed as the choker that protecting his neck was stolen by the said boy.
Changmin abruptly stopped walking. He remembered what the boy was whispering to him right before the said boy released him.
“One day, I’ll steal your heart just like I steal these chokers of yours”
Changmin gasped when he felt his heart started to beat faster as if it wanted to knock out his ribcage. He gripped his left chest tightly and he panted slightly, feeling light-headed for the sudden rushes in his body.
“God… don’t tell me he already steals a little of my heart”
---
“Hello beloved dongsaeng, what are you do- oh, okay, don’t say anything”
Yoochun rolled his eyes when he saw what his dongsaeng was doing. Kyuhyun quickly put down those two chokers he stole and scowled at the older boy who was leaning one hip at the door.
“What are you doing here, stupid hyung?” He hissed.
“Seriously, ‘saeng. You’re psycho” Yoochun stated.
“And seriously, hyung. You’re annoying. Sod off!”
Yoochun cluck his tongue. “I want too, but I can’t. Heechul-hyung is already bitching on how you’re supposed to come at auditorium to give speech before our school goes for holiday, like, half hour ago”
Kyuhyun gasped and he quickly rushed out from the room, passed by the older boy like a rocket. Yoochun chuckled and followed the flabbergasted younger boy.
“Why you didn’t say it earlier?” Kyuhyun groaned as he ran fast.
“Because you’re busy ogling at those chokers?” Yoochun snickered.
“Shut!”
---
All of the students, from kindergarten until high school from both sections gathered at the huge auditorium. It seemed like the auditorium was the biggest building in the school as it needed to hold for thousands people in one time.
However, most of the Kings were not there. The only Kings there were Heechul; as he was the vice-president of the Student Council and of course, his beloved Hankyung, to accompany him. Kyuhyun was supposed to be there too because he was responsible to give speech for the closing ceremony as the president of Student Council and now the said president was late.
For Princes, most of them were there except for Kibum, Changmin, Eunhyuk and Junsu. Most probably, those two so-called twins were late because they were busy doing something else as Kibum and Changmin were certainly would not come. For them, it was pointless. Anyway, those Princes were quite hidden from any of the students’ view because they surely didn’t want to be ambushed by their fans.
The ceremony was coming to the end but Kyuhyun was still not there. Heechul groaned under his breath because if the president still didn’t come, the vice-president had to take the president’s place. Sure, Heechul loved to be on a place where everyone would look up at him, like on a stage, but he so didn’t want to be a stage just to deliver some cheap speeches.
“If that brat doesn’t come in one minute, I’ll personally burn those damn chokers he got!”
---
At the same time, Eunhyuk was strolling along the corridor, didn’t have any intention to walk fast as he was already late to gather at the auditorium. It seemed weird seeing him alone without his beloved ‘twin’ Junsu, but the latter had something to do that forced him to be alone.
He was passing by doors one by one before he suddenly heard some voices coming from one room. He looked at his side and noticed that he actually was standing right in front of music room. He could hear melodious voice accompanied by sound of piano coming through the door. Unconsciously, he stepped forward and planted his hand on the door, as if he wanted to absorb the beautiful sound.
He was able to enjoy it for some times but unfortunately, the person inside the room saw his silhouette.
“Who’s that?” That person called out.
Eunhyuk instantly pulled back his hand and quickly ran away. He didn’t know why he ran away but he just did. His leg automatically and spontaneously carried him away. Regret, that what Eunhyuk was feeling. He regretted for running away that he didn’t be able to finish hearing the heavenly voice and for not be able to know who the person was.
“Eh, what’s wrong Hyukkie? Why’re you running?” Junsu who was going to the auditorium saw Eunhyuk ran passed by him.
Eunhyuk halted and he turned to look at Junsu. He forced a grin to be plastered on his face before his so-called twin noticed his sad expression. Sad. Sad for not know who was the person behind the door. How silly of him.
“Nah, it just that, we’re late right? That’s why I’m running”
Junsu gasped and he quickly grabbed Eunhyuk’s hand before he dragged the slightly older boy towards the auditorium, fast.
---
Kyuhyun managed to come before Heechul’s ‘one minute’ ended. Hankyung patted her back gently, as if to calm him down after his running. Heechul scoffed and he whacked the younger boy’s head not-so-gently.
“Prepare for your speech, brat” Heechul glared.
“Yes. Sorry, hyung”
“Next time, don’t be too busy ogling on those chokers” Yoochun snickered.
Kyuhyun managed to punch the older boy at the stomach before he was being called up to deliver his speech as a president of Student Council.
---
Donghae took a huge gasp as he resurfaced from water. He relaxed and let his body floated on its own. Slowly, he kicked his legs so he could maintain his body from sinking down in the water. Donghae looked up at the bright sky and he smiled. He loved day like that. Sunny and bright, reminded him of happy things.
“Most probably Kyu is delivering his boring, stereotype speech that he used in almost every ceremony” He mused.
He knew his friends would never go to those kinds of ceremonies, besides Kyuhyun, Heechul and Hankyung. He also knew that Zhoumi would probably try to capture any possible scenes in their school using his most treasured camera. Sungmin was practicing his martial arts, same like Kangin for archery because they had tournaments during their school holiday. Yesung would spend his time in music room, perfecting his voice and such as a preparation for any competition he might join. Usually, Yoochun would join him. Yunho, he was busy checking through all the equipment in soccer club for them to be in perfect order.
Donghae sighed in bliss as he floated steadily on the water. He let his mind wandered about the black, charcoal eyes boy that had the most adorable smile.
“What’re you doing here?”
A sudden voice called out making Donghae startled. He flapped his hand as he was sinking. He coughed desperately for air as soon as he back to the surface. The person looked at him in concern.
“Ahh, you’re that Milady” Donghae noted as soon as he saw the person.
“I’m not Milady!” Changmin hissed. “I asked you earlier, what’re you doing here?”
Donghae tilted his head. “No, what’re you doing here? This swimming pool is my possession, don’t you know?” Donghae said.
Yes, it was true. Swimming pool was his damn possession because he was the president of swimming club and damn, because he was like, really owned the pool.
Changmin scrunched up his nose and looked down at Donghae who was staring up at him from the water. He scoffed and he sat down on one of the benches near the pool.
“Crazy, claiming school’s property as his own possession” Changmin mumbled under his breath.
Donghae blinked his eyes. He didn’t actually hear anything the other boy was saying. Donghae then heaved out from the pool. He shook his head and wiped the waters from his hair. He glanced up at the boy and noticed that he was from commoner section, based on the white shirt and black vest.
“Where’s your tie?” Donghae asked. The tie was actually to differentiate normal student or the special students.
Changmin shrugged nonchalantly. He leaned backward before he stared up to the sky.
“Today is hot. The tie makes me feel hotter”
Donghae nodded his head, acknowledged what the other boy was saying. Sure, today was hotter than usual. That was why he decided to cool down by swimming in the pool. He gently kicked the water, watching it formed ripples before they disappeared.
“You” Donghae started.
“Hn?”
“You know him, right? That boy that dressed up as your butler”
Changmin instantly scowled when he knew what the other boy was saying about. Donghae blinked confusedly when he saw Changmin’s reaction. Weren’t they friend? Why was he scowled when he heard about his friend?
“You’re not friend?”
“The reason he’s my friend that makes me scowl” Changmin stated.
Donghae blinked more. Nope, he was positive he didn’t understand what the other boy was saying.
“He’s a jerk. Total jerk. A jerk that is too perfect that he never fails in doing anything. Somehow I wonder if he’s really a human or not. There’s no one that is perfect in everything but he does. I’m pretty sure he’s actually an alien”
Donghae’s eyes sparkled when the other boy mentioned about alien. However, he then frowned when he thought the boy he liked as an alien. Donghae shook his head. Changmin didn’t even care about Donghae anymore as he already rambling about Kibum that loved to drive him up to the wall and made him miserable by many embarrassing things the said boy put him through.
“He’s so perfect in everything. I hate him with the way he smile, the way he pats my head mockingly, the way he poked my forehead, the way he laughed at me, the way-”
“You actually love him, right?” Donghae suddenly spoke out.
Changmin choked and he was flabbergasted. He looked at Donghae in a way that saying the other boy was being totally ridiculous. Donghae only smiled. A sincere smile.
“Wha- Are you idiot? There’s no way I’ll love him!”
“Sure” Donghae shrugged. “If not love as in love. Then love like a brother”
Changmin bit down his lower lip. He heaved out a sigh and he looked at his side.
“Yeah… Maybe you’re right” Damn, he so didn’t want to admit it.
Donghae smiled bigger making Changmin blushed.
“As a brother! Not more than that!” Changmin exclaimed.
---
At that time, Kibum who was sleeping under a shady tree near the pool sneezed. He cracked one of his eyes open and he stared at the sky.
“Changmin said something that’s not like him”
Kibum sniffed slightly before he fell asleep again.
---
Yoochun sighed softly. He was sitting on one of the chairs in the music room. He came there right after he finished escorting his Royal Highness President of the Student Council to the auditorium because Her Royal Highness Vice-President was bitching like hell. He gazed at the small towel with letter ‘KJ’ in his grip.
Suddenly, he felt his ear being pulled and he snapped back from his day-dreaming.
“Hyung!” Yoochun cried.
Yesung just rolled his eyes before he sat down on the desk, next to where Yoochun was sitting. He glanced down at his dongsaeng. Although he might look like he didn’t care, he was actually worried about the younger boy.
“What’s wrong?” Yesung asked.
“No… Just-” Yoochun sighed again.
Yesung raised his eyebrow and then he glanced at the cloth in his dongsaeng’s grip. His lips formed a small ‘O’ as he finally understand what was actually about. He patted his dongsaeng’s head gently, slightly massaging the scalp, a habit that he usually did when he patted someone’s head. Yoochun silently leaned towards the older boy, wanting more.
“You like that boy already?” Yesung inquired.
“What?” Yoochun drew back in shock. “No-! It just that I feel curious about him, that’s all”
“Oh… Okay” Yesung gave a final pat on the younger boy’s head.
“Is it wrong, hyung?” His voice sounded so small that he cringed slightly.
“No. It’s not. Because I’m also curious about your boy’s friend too” Yesung smiled slightly.
Yoochun grinned up at his hyung before he stuffed back the small towel in his jacket. He then sprang off his seat and went to the piano at the center of the room.
“Quick, hyung! Practice, practice!” Yoochun chirped.
Yesung only smiled before he hopped off from the desk he sat and walked towards the younger boy who was already practicing his song.
---
The ceremony was already end. All of them could go home anytime they wanted. The Princes who gathered at the ceremony waited for those two who didn’t come. Jaejoong was already contacted Changmin and asked him to also bring Kibum to the West main gate where they were waiting.
~
“You said something about me, right?” Kibum yawned slightly as he glanced at the younger boy.
“What?” Changmin raised his eyebrow. “Why did you say that?”
“It’s because I sneezed when I was sleeping earlier”
Changmin scoffed. “What’s the relationship between you sneeze and I’m saying something about you?”
“The reason I sneeze is because you’re either saying something about me or you’re saying something that’s not like you and it’s about me”
Changmin was flabbergasted but he quickly composed himself. Oh no, no way he would admit it. Not in front of the said devil.
“You’re crazy” He stated before he stormed away.
Kibum only shrugged.
---
Heechul tapped his feet impatiently. Sometimes he would glance at his mobile phone to check the time. Hankyung silently practiced his dance moves near the Diva so that he could teach them to his club’s members. Kyuhyun leaned at the wall, staring off to the air.
“Chul-hyung, Hankyung-hyung, Kyuhyun-ah!”
Heechul looked up to see Sungmin and Donghae were running towards them. Sungmin met the younger boy when he was going to meet Heechul and others at the East main gate.
“Where’s the others?” Donghae asked.
Heechul looked at his favourite dongsaeng. “You’re swimming again, aren’t you?”
Anyone would figure out when they saw how wet the said boy’s hair was. Donghae grinned and he slung his hand around Heechul’s neck.
“D’aww~ It’s not like you don’t know me, hyung” Donghae winked.
“The others are still not coming” Hankyung answered for the earlier question.
Sungmin nodded and he too leaned at the wall, beside the day-dreaming boy. He glanced at the youngest boy among them and he chuckled deeply under his breath. Kyuhyun looked dreamy that was so not like him. Sungmin raised his hand in front of the younger boy, and he snapped his finger.
“Wha- What?” Kyuhyun spluttered in surprise.
“You’re so screw” Sungmin giggled.
“Shut up. You’re annoying just like Yoochun-hyung” Kyuhyun mumbled.
“Did I hear my name was being mentioned?”
The said boy called out. Yoochun walked faster and he practically tackled Kyuhyun as soon as he neared the boy. Yesung just shook his head and he stopped next to Hankyung. Kyuhyun was already spouting off some cuss words as he struggled to be free from Yoochun’s clutch. Sungmin only laughed at the side, didn’t have any intention to help the poor boy.
“How did you hear what I was saying?” Kyuhyun hissed.
“Don’t underestimate my ability to hear, ‘saeng~” Yoochun laughed.
Heechul heaved out a sigh dramatically before he dramatically leaned at Hankyung and placed his hand over his forehead in dramatic motion. Hankyung rolled his eyes and he shifted slightly, so the Diva would be in more comfortable position. Yesung smiled softly and he reached out his hand, pulling Yoochun’s ear.
“Stop it” He scolded gently.
“Hyung!” Yoochun cried as he released the struggling boy.
Yunho and Kangin came joining them with questioning look on their face. Yesung just shook his head, telling them to just ignore it. It was better for them to not know what was happened. Yunho shrugged nonchalantly and he just settled by standing next to Donghae. Kangin grumbled slightly and he stood close to Yesung.
“Say ‘kimchi’~!”
All of them turned to look at the sudden voice in bewildered. Zhoumi clicked on his camera as soon as his friends looked at him. He grinned idiotically because he managed to take a picture of their friends when they were letting their guard down. Zhoumi smiled in satisfied. He loved it better if they were acting natural. It looked more precious for him.
Heechul scoffed as he flicked his hair in Diva-like.
“Whatever, Sunshine” Heechul straightened his blazer. “Let’s go!”
All of them just followed the said Diva. It’s common for them, to gather at the gate and walked home together.
