Losing hope in humanity
You know sanity must be a rare good, when the country-wide Protestant-Church-Day (Evangelischer Kirchentag) has lectures on their agenda like: Biss zum Gebet ("until the prayer", 'Biss' in it's original form meaning 'bite' but used here instead of 'bis' which means 'until' in german) - Vampirism and Christianism.
The 'Biss'-series is the german translation of the Twilight-series. That such a reference comes up on the schedule of a serious Occassion, presenting the local town to the whole country and beyond... I think I might cry.
