Kore kara... soshite koko kara - A Mori Fan's Thoughts

Jun 09, 2016 21:11

I have been following this Mori fan's blog since two years ago. I really love her blog entries, she's really a good writer. So I thought I'd share her latest entry in translation. As a Smappy who was "not there" when Mori left, this Mori fan's thoughts and opinions are very interesting to read for me. I just realized just how hard things for Mori-kun back then... just as hard as it is for the five members now. IMHO, this time, SMAP Commotion / Uproar as they call it, is like a direct sequel of Mori's Quit. Kimura's Marriage -> Goro's Traffic Violation -> Tsuyopon's Drunk Incident were like fillers of the whole story. This is it... they will, I really hope, they will finally finish what they have started 20 years ago.... I surely hope the "SMAP Uproar" chapter will become one huge final chapter with a happy ending XD

Madamada Kore Kara. Soshite Koko Kara.
(This is Just the Beginning. And it Starts Here.)

June 9, 2016

I just received SMAP JFC pamphlet today.

For me personally, at the present time, this pamphlet is nothing more than a bulletin published by the imperial palace. (sorry I'm using such an ancient metaphor...)

I don't have much comment concerning the content.

I'm guessing the members' words must have gone through censorship.

We can only watch and wait now... I think.

But...

If I really have to make a comment...

I'm thinking the exact same thing when the jimusho's president made the "there will definitely be no disband!" comment which came so late.

Nothing is over.

On the contrary, the real battle just started now.

The jimusho leaked the content of the pamphlet to the media even before they arrive at each recipient's addresses. They have disappointed so many fans...

I've said this before.

From now on, there'll be a lot of things that will make us feel angry, sad and frustrated.

But actually those five men who are having the hardest time and things happening might have affect their mentality.

I did think that things were gonna get worse... but now it has slowly coming true, I can't help but still feeling disappointed.

The way the jimusho manipulate the media... They're treating their talents (whom suppose to be important for them) in a very rude way.

And we don't feel any concern from the jimusho for the fans at all, on the contrary they're treating the fans cold-heartedly.

I have experienced all of that. When Mori-kun left.

It has been 20 years but really nothing changes since then... No... now that the president and vice president have aged, they've become even more unreasonable... I can only sigh watching all of this.

Mori-kun and his fans have gone through this for many years.

I don't know just how much we felt frustrated, angry and how many times did we cry?

That's why...

I know exactly all about that jimusho's boundless heartless ways.

We can't reverse the situation with their huge, unreasonable power... Mori fans might be the ones who can realistically understand that.

So, from my experience, I know that the future is not that bright.

What I think when I see the five of them now is...

All five of them might be in the same situation and position Mori-kun was that time...?

Mori-kun had never talk about SMAP in public at all, until his letter in the FNS 27 hours show.

Now that I think of it,

Maybe he "couldn't talk about them."

All the news that were not true, the slander, and the speculations that Mori-kun had to face that time... I'm sure he had so many things to say concerning all those. Wait a minute... even if he has nothing to say, I have a lot to say! (<- you're nobody for him)

But, he didn't say a thing...

Of course Mori-kun places weight on "The present me is more important than the past. I live on as a racer." There's no doubt about that.

But if he had talk about anything, the anti-Johnnys media would've take advantage and make it look like he had a hard battle with the jimusho, even though its not the truth and if things goes out of control... it will cause trouble to the five members who still belong to the jimusho. This is an exaggeration, but its as if his five BEST FRIENDs are taken hostages...

Maybe that's why he had been quiet these 18 years, till the 27 hours letter.

I think the situation is the same now for all five of them.

They understand that if they say anything, they would hurt someone important to them, so they stay quiet.

I think all five cannot talk for now...

They're currently taking positions while waiting for the time when they'd be able to talk with their own words.

When the uproar occurred, Kimura-kun said in the radio,
"When the time we can talk with our own words comes, I will talk about it here." I believe what he said.

The words from all five that have come shown forward now must have gone through editing and packaging...

Fans want to hear their raw, live words where the truth lies.

In the 18 years period when Mori-kun couldn't say anything,

Nakai-kun, Kimura-kun and the other members have called his name "Mori-kun" in turns in live broadcasts when they had the chance... those were the times the fans could finally see their true feelings.... fans can neverforget that.

No matter how much the jimusho wanted to erase Mori-kun's existence and make it look like SMAP had always been five members since the beginning, the five members never let that happen.

They always think "We do not want to betray Mori's fans" (by Kimura) and all five of them have always treasure Mori-kun's existence...

That's why I'm still a SMAP fan now, even without Mori-kun in the group.

There is no other group that has such rebellious and manly spirit like them.

That time all five members tried to protect Mori-kun. Is there anyone out there trying to protect SMAP now...?

That's what I feel most worried and anxious about since winter.

If there isn't anyone rebellious like that around them...

Then the one who can protect them is no other than us, the fans...

All the fans must have understand the importance of voicing out our opinions out loud.

The real battle has just begun. I'm preparing myself for the worst.

We shall not give up. We shall not get tired of it.

Until the day when they can tell the fans their own words and their true feelings about all this, comes.

I hope we can send our raw voices and thoughts as much as we can.

The result of the "truth" is a different matter, in my opinion.

Thinking again... I can't help but to think that the way all five mention "Mori-kun" is very clever and effective in these 20 years...

They didn't just call his name randomly, but they always watch the place, read the situation, calculate it in a flexible way.

That shows just how much all five of them think of the other one member.

I'd like to learn from them. I want to do things like them.

I want to hold flowers in my heart, not hatred.

I'd like to voice out my opinion believing in their future.

What I'm holding in my heart now are white roses... it means "respect from the heart."

I respect how the five men and one man have walked through their paths.

We won't lose. Definitely.

Let's work hard so that we can have the last laugh.

Let's do it in our own respective ways, toughly, strongly and cheerfully.
