SMAP Crisis (3): Fans' Petition and Campaign
SMAP fans are currently uniting and making moves to stop the disband that no one wants, not even SMAP themselves wants this disband to happen and the disband that will cause huge loss to the Japanese society.
There are petitions you can sign.

SMAP Katorium by the international fans
SMAP fans are also rallying to buy "Sekai ni Hitotsu dake no Hana" to make it a triple million single and #世界に一つだけの花 is trending now. If we want to join the movement though, we have to use middleman services in Japan. Oricon no longer count sales that ship to oversea addresses. So we have to either use middleman service or we can transfer money to someone who lives in Japan and ask him/her to buy the single for us.
It has become news. Fans aim for SekaiHana's triple million (3 million JPY) to stop SMAP from disbanding. Sekai's record is currently 2.6 million.

Victor Entertainment (SMAP's record label) is currently working hard to help the campaign. A CD shop have asked Victor and they said the limit of the CD reprinting is 2000 copies a day. But they're doing their best to produce more SekaiHana CDs to make the campaign a success.
Otherside (#4) and Sekai (#9) hit daily Oricon charts in January 14th.

A CD store manager made a comment, "I've been in this business for more than 20 years and this is the first time I see an old single sold out in these two days. The other SMAP CDs we have left in stock are all sold out as well."
They are currently placing labels on the shelf that Sekai and Vest are curently on reproduction. For anyone who wants to buy, please patiently wait while placing an order to the store.
Many CD stores now place a board or a corner for SMAP's 25th anniversary! Amazing! The power of people!
